Having thoroughly fished the upper and middle stretches of one run we fished two days earlier, I had just lost my fly and was taking a 'shore break' to warm my feet while tying on a fresh bunny. As I started walking upstream to refish the run, Kevin suggested I continue fishing through from where I had stepped out... he was confident fish were holding further downstream given the weather and water conditions. He was spot on and his theory proved him right... I was rewarded with a bright fish; my first on that day!
